Myers Briggs Personality Test

The Myers Briggs Personality Test is a well-known device used by many professionals. Not only is it helpful for self-analysis, but also for developing characters for a novel.

For today, analyze your personality! It's a free and quick link HERE. Then, type in your four letters in google and see what comes up.

This is a short entry today -- I'll talk more about this subject tomorrow.

I am an INFJ (Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging) who is well-suited for work in education, libraries, and counseling. Which is pretty darn close, actually.

Nice to see that I share a personality with Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and John Calvin. Also Nicole Kidman, though I'm not sure if that's as much of a self-esteem builder as the others!

ESFJ (extraverted sensing feeling judging). I am a caregiver/guardian, who is "easily wounded." I would be well-suited for management, public admin, nursing, education, and social work. All of which sorta describe what I do. In my ministry work, I am an administrator/events planner. And in my mission work, I'm a medical team pharmacist. They compared me to Eleanor Roosevelt and Martin Luther King, Jr. But I'm not sure that I appreciate sharing a personality with Bill Clinton. YIKES!

ENFJ Idealist, like King David, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan? AND Barck Obama. Kind of scary to be compared to this line-up.

This assessment blew me away. It even mentioned Psalm 119, which endlessly fascinates me. "Introverted Thinking is least apparent and most enigmatic in this type... Introverted Thinking is frequently the focus of the spiritual quest of ENFJs. David's lengthiest psalm, 119, pays it homage... these essences of inner thinking are the mysteries of Deity for which this great Feeler's soul searched."

I'll be waiting for your next post on the topic.

I share my personality with Dwight D. Eisenhower, General Ulysses S. Grant, Frideriche Nietsche, Stephen Hawking, Ayn Rand and Sir Isaac Newton.

Cool.

I also look forward to your next entry.
