Audrey Hepburn was once asked about her *beauty tips*, and wrote this in response. It was read at her funeral years later.
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

Wow. I really liked that. Thanks for sharing. I am a little surprised, but then I don't know much about her.
Good post!
Those words are truly awe-inspiring, especially coming from Audrey Hepburn.
I'm passing this along to some e-mail pals with a link to your site.
Thank you Amy for sharing such beautiful words and thank you, Anne, for pointing me toward them via email.
How inspiring, and how true. Beauty is truly so much more than skin deep. How easy it is to forget that in our culture, where youth and appearance are valued above so much else!
God bless you all today.
Wow, great post!!! Great words of a wisdom. Thanks for sharing!
